Sofia Andrade, a woman from Massachusetts, won $200 on a scratch card lottery ticket. She was not going to spend the money on herself, however. She had a plan.
Glenn Williams had been living on the streets for the past 3 years, but had a respected reputation in the community. He was a very kind man to everyone he encountered.
Sofia asked Glenn to go to a local cafe with him, and he was overwhelmed by her generosity.
Sofia had big plans for the money she won…

After they enjoyed a meal together, Sofia revealed her next kind act.
Sofia took Glenn to the local Rosewood Motel and purchase a room for him. Massachusetts has fierce winters. Now Glenn will have a safe and warm place to sleep.
Sofia wrote about Glenn on her Facebook page, and the post instantly went viral. After that, people from all over town began supporting Glenn in a variety of ways. They donated winter clothes, gave him a free haircut, and the list goes on. Glenn was overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity,
“There’s a lot of good people in this world. I am overwhelmed with all the help, and I just want to thank everybody.”
Glenn is trying to get his life back on track, and with the help of his community, and from super individuals like Sofia, he’s optimistic.
