A Glass Of Red Wine Is As Beneficial To You As One Hour At Gym

The University of Alberta in Canada recently conducted a study revealing the health benefits of resveratrol, a compound found in red wine, are similar to those we get from exercise.

Resveratrol improved physical performance, heart function, and muscle strength in the very same way as a gym session.

Lead researcher, Jason Dyck, said the findings would help people who are unable to exercise. The health benefits of red wine has been well documented, and studies have found that people who drink a glass of red wine a day are less likely to develop dementia or cancer.  Also, it’s good for your heart, anti-ageing and can regulate blood sugar.
