Brian And Ashley Kolfage Steal Money From A Personal Campaign

Do you remember the fundraising campaign “We Build the Wall“?.  It is an organization soliciting donations to build private sections of the wall along the Mexico–U.S. border. According to reports, Steve Bannon and other people like married couple Brian and Ashley Kolfage have been accused of defrauding donors of the said campaign and used the money for personal purchases such as plastic surgery or buying boats.

Ashley Kolfage Reportedly Used The Money For Plastic Surgery

Steve Bannon, former White House strategist, and Breitbart’s head has been criticized for taking a million dollars from the twenty five-million raised by We Build The Wall. Brian and Ashley Kolfage have also come under fire for taking $350K. After losing his arm and legs in 2004, in Iraq, Brian was awarded the Purple Heart. He met Ashley at Chili’s where she worked as a waitress and the two were married soon after.

Ashley Kolfage is a social media influencer with over 272,000 followers on Instagram and 300,00+ TikTok fans in which she regularly touts her support for President Donald Trump and things like golfing trips in her new expensive SUV.

The couple lives in Miramar, Fla. with their two kids. Brian had become an avid Trump supporter after the business mogul and reality TV show host announced his campaign for the presidency.

After the We Build The Wall GoFundMe Campaign was launched, it quickly became surrounded by controversy. The crowdfunding platform had raised its concerns about the campaign and in response to that Steve Bannon got involved in managing this successful fundraiser. The investigators found that money was jumping from one charity organization to another, including those created by Steve Bannon himself. At the end of the day, they concluded it was a result of embezzlement on both Kolfages and Bannon’s part.

The couple spent their $350,000 on things like boats, home renovations, credit card debt; jewelry; a brand-new Range Rover SUV; a golf cart, and plastic surgery for Ashley. While there are no details of what surgeries she had done to her body with that money people have suggested it was breast augmentation procedures.

Charges for fraud can carry anywhere from 3 months to up to 10 years or more in federal prison. The massive quantities of money involved and the high-profile nature of its political implications makes it difficult for those in charge not to get heavy sentences. In my opinion, I’d guess that Bannon probably won’t get in trouble at all, because he has enough money and connections to afford a good legal team. I don’t know if the Kolfages will be so lucky though, even with Brian’s Purple Heart. It would also be difficult for Trump to come to bail these folks out of jail if they’ve been found guilty of misappropriating funds towards its construction.
