Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Take The Airwaves By Storm With This Collaboration

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will turned up the heat at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards when they sang their new song “Go Ahead and Break My Heart”.

And, we couldn’t be more thrilled!

“I was only trying to impress Gwen,” Blake tells “Entertainment Tonight” about the song, which they co-wrote together. “I started this song and wrote about half of it and sent it to her and she wrote the other half of it. It was just kind of something for she and I to help us feel better about what we were going through.”

The pair, who started dating back in November 2015, warmed their fans up to their described “feel better” tune earlier this month when they performed it on an episode of “The Voice” — the show where Shefani’s spark began. While that debut couldn’t have been more bittersweet for Blake and Gwen, this will mark the first time they’ve ever sang together on an awards show.
