In 2008, an action horror film came out that absolutely dominated the box office. “Taken,” starring Liam Neeson, follows a father-daughter duo as they leap from one unlucky happening to the next. Liam Neeson’s character, a retired CIA field operative named, Bryan Mills, desperately wants to reconnect with his daughter Kim, played by Maggie Grace. The story twists and turns as Kim is violently stalked with her dad two steps ahead of the enemy.
Liam Neeson has a few memorable quotes from the film, but there’s one that has stuck with a lot of fans. The monologue goes, “I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you.”
This humorous father takes the memorable scene and uses it to lay down the law with his kids. Read it for yourself.
