It’s a way to really get the color and shape of the flowers you’re arranging to shine. The project is straightforward and can be done in a few simple steps, but you will need to take a trip to the hardware store to get a few items.

Supplies:

  • Large flower pot
  • Drain pipe
  • Wire Fencing
  • Brown Tarp
  • Plastic Tiles
  • Rocks
  • Flower seeds

Start by sealing the drain tile with duct tape and setting it inside the pot.

You will also want to place rocks at the base to sturdy the pipe. Then take the wire fencing and wrap it around the pot going all the way up to the top of the pipe. It should look like the picture above.

Place a tarp inside the wire fencing and then fill it all up with soil.

It’s a good idea to keep the tarp in place with plastic ties.

Use a knife to puncture holes in the tarp wherever you want flowers to go. Make sure to also puncture holes in the drain pipe to get water flowing throughout.
