Jeremy and Justice Stamper started dating in high school and have been together ever since.
Last August, the couple got married. ’We were on the top of the world, and newlyweds with our whole lives ahead of us,’ shared Jeremy.
Just 19 days after the wedding, Justice got in a terrible accident on the way to see her husband.
After countless hours of physical therapy, she is now doing well, however, a month after the accident, she made a heartbreaking confession to her husband.
’I don’t want you to be mad … but I do not remember the wedding,’ she said. Justice couldn’t remember the last five weeks before the accident, which included their beautiful ceremony.
In order to help get her memory back, Justice looked at wedding photos every day, but she still couldn’t remember anything. “I see how he is looking at me during the ceremony and would do anything to remember how it felt,” she said.
Jeremy felt that he had to do something about it. “I was heartbroken, and instantly said I would do it all again for her,” he said.
The couple’s story was soon picked up by multiple news outlets, which led to local companies donating photography, a wedding cake, and more.
They’re planning on having their second wedding on their first wedding anniversary, on August 1st.
