A police officer and a dispatcher were having a conversation about a case that came up after an officer responded to a call reported by frantic neighbors.
“I have an interesting case here. An elderly woman shot her husband for stepping on the kitchen floor she just mopped,” said the police officer, who happened to be at the scene.
Dispatch replied, “Have you arrested the woman yet?”
The officer responded, “Not yet. The floor is still wet.”
