The best people in the world will cover the humiliation experienced by their friends. I’d like to relate a personal experience that solidified my friendship with one of my best guy-friends in the world.
I had my period before I was 14 and I was at my guy friend’s house. I forgot to bring pads, and his parents were there.
We were eating strawberries on his white couch, and I didn’t realize I had bled through my shorts onto his white couch while I was wearing WHITE SHORTS.
His parents left the room and I got up and saw blood everywhere and started crying and he grabbed the strawberries and mashed them on the couch and on himself and me quickly, and when his parents came back, he said,
“We had a fruit war.“
