One such individual is TommyInnit (real name: Thomas Simons). The Minecraft lover who started his own YouTube channel in 2015 has gathered an impressive subscriber list of more than nine million people.
TommyInnit only posts gaming content. Unlike other gamers, he doesn’t feature vlogs. But, he has revealed some personal information over the years — mainly when his mom interrupts his live streams. Tommy is only 17 years old and has been posting gaming content for years. When he was just a tween, Tommy started his original YouTube channel ChannelNutPig. But after getting the reaction from some of his classmates, he later took it down. Tommy’s return to YouTube in 2015 was an instant hit.
The Minecraft expert is a student living in Nottingham, England with his parents and two dogs. The YouTube star is a very private person and doesn’t usually share pictures or videos of his family. His parents’ names are not public, but he does joke about them on Twitter. His mother, who he calls “MotherInnit” can be heard in the background of his videos from time to time. She often interrupts when she hears him using curse words during live streams. Though it may seem like Tommy makes fun of his parents on social media, he has always had their support for the venture.
“My parents have always been super, super supportive…” Tommy said. “There was a point where they were like, ‘why is he just swearing so much?’ and they were like, ‘Oh, OK. He has 100,000 people watching, we’ll let him get away with it this night,'” he added.
Though he tries to keep his family life out of the public eye, Tommy often makes jokes about himself and dating on both YouTube and Twitter. “Women won’t date me and won’t tell me why,” he wrote on Twitter.
What is TommyInnit’s Net Worth? With over nine million subscribers and almost a billion total views on YouTube, Tommy has been able to monetize his gaming channel. Some sources say that the teen has a net worth between $2 million and $2.5 million, but he hasn’t discussed his earnings online yet.
