Some people get chocolates, others get fancy dinners or a stuffed teddy.
But this was no ordinary Valentine’s Day for Alex Hirschi, better known as Supercar Blondie.
The social media sensation, who reviews luxury cars for a living in Dubai, walked out of her hotel to find a brand new $470,000 Ferrari filled with 1,000 pink, red, and white roses.

It was a surprise dreamed up by her husband Nik, who said he knew he wanted to incorporate a supercar into the romantic holiday.
Nik filmed the entire reveal on YouTube, telling thousands of fans that he wanted to pick a car he knew his wife was considering buying for herself.
Alex had conducted a poll with a number of cars she was deciding between, and after more than 19,000 votes it was the Ferrari 488 that reigned supreme.
Nik agreed with his wife’s fans and said he picked the 488 Spider because he believed it would be the one ‘she will love’ most.

At first, Nik asked Alex to come to the parking lot and handed her a rose. She innocently asked, ‘Is this the surprise?’
The doting husband then took the car to a flower shop, where the car was first protected with bags so that the roses couldn’t scratch the brand new interior.
It was then filled to the brim with red and pink roses, while a massive heart made out of white roses was placed on the hood of the car.
‘It’s completely overloaded, it’s going to be insane,’ Nik said.
After some balloons were attached for added effect, Nik called Alex to come down from the hotel.
‘We’ve got something special for you, just come out,’ he told her over the phone.
But then the social media star looked on in surprise as the Ferrari drove out right in front of her
‘Oh my god, this is amazing,’ she said, gasping with shock. ‘Thank you so much, that’s insane’
‘I’m so nervous right now, I really hope she’s going to like it,’ Nik then told the camera.
He gave Alex arose when she first appeared, to which she asked: ‘Is this the surprise?’
But then the Queensland native looked on in shock as the Ferrari drove out right in front of her.
‘Oh my god, this is amazing,’ she said. ‘Thank you so much, that’s insane.’
Alex then asked Nik (pictured together) if this was her new car, and he revealed she would get to test it out for a week before deciding if she wanted it to be her new supercar
‘I love roses, but I love Ferraris even more,’ Alex said as she happily looked at her gift
After the roses were removed, Alex got behind the wheel to give her new gift a spin
That’s when Nik’s final surprise was revealed: Rose petals coming out of the exhaust pipes
‘I love roses, but I like Ferraris even more,’ she added.
Alex then asked her husband if the gift was hers to keep, and he revealed she would get to test it out for a week before deciding if she wanted it to be her new supercar.
After the roses were removed, Alex got behind the wheel to give her new gift a spin.
That’s when Nik’s final surprise was revealed: Rose petals coming out of the exhaust pipes.
‘Such an amazing, amazing surprise,’ Alex concluded. ‘I think Ferraris should always have roses in them, it looks amazing.’
