Dutch Bros Staff Reaches Out To Woman In The Drive Thru Who Just Lost Her Husband

When Barbara Danner goes to the Dutch Bros drive-thru in Vancouver, Washington, every morning, she usually gets her order without a problem.  On one recent trip, it was taking longer than usual.

The driver in front of her was holding up the entire line. It was then Barbara noticed three employees crowding around the window to reach towards the woman and grab her hand. Barbara realized what was happening was more important than her coffee, and she knew she had to do something.

“Snapped this picture while waiting in line at the Dutch Bros on 138th Avenue today,” Barbara wrote.

“Turns out the young lady in line ahead of us lost her 37-year-old husband last night.”

“When the DB guys & gals noticed she was falling apart, they stopped everything and prayed with her for several minutes, invited her to come back for prayer and support, as well as anything else that she might need. Prayers for the young family, and you know where to stop for coffee!”

This is not the first time the people at Dutch Bros went out of their way to help others. They have also been raising money for Officer Nathan Taylor, who was recently killed in the line of duty.

It’s so nice to see people going above and beyond to help those in their time of need. I only wish there were more people like them in the world!
