Lena Nersesian, also known as Lena The Plug, is an Armenian-American internet personality and adult entertainer. She was born on July 1, 1991. Her strict Christian parents found it inappropriate to discuss anything related to the subject of sexuality in her childhood home. In her very first youtube video, She said that even shows like Boy Meets World were too risqué in her childhood home.
Lena attended the University of California and graduated with a degree in psychology. She was accepted into grad school but decided not to go because it would have been too expensive for her at that time period. Lena started working at a startup where her coworkers called her “Lena The Plug.”
Lena’s family was not happy when she started working in the adult entertainment industry. After all, this is something that doesn’t seem like it would be Lena’s cup of tea… But after finding herself growing tired with her regular 9-5 paycheck she decided to go down a different route altogether. She first started as a Snapchat model.
She first started growing her online following, Lena used Instagram and Snapchat. At one point she had three million followers on the app. But her original account got suspended. She upgraded her online presence by making a Youtube channel and now takes home a seven-figure paycheck.
“I only got into this business because so many of my followers kept asking me if I had ‘premium’ content. Now I use my social media platforms as marketing tools for my business and [as a way] to meet other creators to work with. I owe everything to the internet and these platforms,” Lena said in a conversation with Forbes.
Lena The Plug would get offers from adult websites but the money wasn’t right. “They wanted 50% of the revenue for me showing my entire body online, while they just hosted the site that processed the credit cards. It struck a nerve with me, and I couldn’t get myself to take any of those deals,” she told Forbes. Lena created a website of her own to make more money. She could sell the adult content and retain it herself instead of sharing it with third-party websites that are just looking for an opportunity in this field. Now, she makes up 95% of her annual revenue from OnlyFans. The rest comes in the form of merchandising and earnings through brand deals.
Lena is currently dating Adam Grandmaison, a fellow online superstar more commonly known as Adam22. He creates podcasts and vlogs for his YouTube channel No Jumper. The couple started dating back in 2016, and they can be seen pretty frequently on each other’s YouTube channels. Adam22 revealed in an interview with Power 106 Los Angeles, that he has a “semi-open relationship” with Lena.
In November 2020, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Parker. When she became a mother, Lena The Plug started sharing videos of her adventures in being a mother. She’s adopted a new name on Instagram “Lena The Mom”.
